Frequently Asked Questions

How does MouseWatcher work?

MouseWatcher automatically notifies you by SMS text or email when available dining reservations are found at Disney World and Disneyland restaurants and activities. Simply Create an Alert by specifying the restaurant, date(s), time(s), and party size(s) you want to reserve, and MouseWatcher will immediately begin looking for reservations as they become available - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When MouseWatcher finds an open reservation, you’ll receive an instant notification text or email. Just click the link in the message to complete your booking on Disney’s website.

How much does it cost?

MouseWatcher offers two convenient pricing options:

  • Single alerts are a one-time purchase and start at $5 per alert. Pricing may increase depending on your target dates - the longer your alert will be active, the higher the price. You can see your alert price adjust as you select your target dates.
  • Subscription plans are billed monthly and start at $19 per month. Larger plan levels are available for users needing more alerts, and you can easily switch plan levels as needed. Subscriptions automatically renew each month and you can cancel anytime.

Can you book or hold a reservation for me?

No, MouseWatcher cannot book reservations on your behalf or hold reservations for you to book. We only send you notifications when open tables are found. You will then need to book the reservation using your Disney account.

Am I guaranteed a table?

No, MouseWatcher cannot guarantee how long a reservation will remain available when we send a notification that we’ve found an open table. Please note that even if you receive a reservation available alert, it may be booked by another Disney guest by the time you click the Book Now link in your notification message. But don’t give up! MouseWatcher will continue searching for available reservations until the date you specified in your alert.

I received a dining alert but wasn’t able to reserve my table. Will I continue receiving alerts?

Yes - you will continue to receive new notifications each time an opening is found, even if you’ve previously received an alert.

How often will I receive notifications?

You’ll receive a notification each and every time MouseWatcher finds an available reservation matching your alert. If the same reservation time is found within 24 hours, MouseWatcher will suppress the duplicate alerts to avoid overwhelming you with too many notifications.

How do I stop receiving alert notifications?

If you successfully booked a table, you may wish to stop receiving additional MouseWatcher notifications for your alert. You can disable alerts by logging into the My Alerts section. When you create your first alert, you’ll receive a confirmation link which will allow you to create an account, or you can Create an Account here.

If you provided a phone number for SMS notifications, you can reply STOP to any MouseWatcher text message to opt out of all alerts. Reply START to opt back in.

Why did my alert total change?

When purchasing a single alert, your total is calculated based on how far out your target dates are. The longer your alert will be active in your system, the higher its price will be.

You can see how long your alert will be active and the total price for your alert when choosing your target dates on the Create an Alert form.

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

You can reset your password by visiting the Reset Password page.

Where can I download a receipt for my alert purchase?

You’ll receive an email receipt each time you purchase an alert. You can also download receipts for any of your orders in the My Alerts section.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you signed up for one of our monthly recurring subscription plans, you can login and visit the My Subscription page to manage your subscription. To cancel, click the red Cancel Subscription button.
